WS6 Into the swinging motion
Inspired by the pendulum, this contemporary dance workshop will physically reflect on movement qualities of swing.
A focused warmup will build relations between gravity, the materiality of bodies and movements in time and space. Improvisation tasks and set sequences will deepen our investigation into our bodily responses to gravity as a condition and initiator of swinging actions.
No previous dance experience is needed.
